Information about underwriting Show Tunes in the Afternoon!

WUMD is a non-commercial, educational station broadcasting an HD signal at 9600 watts from the campus of the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. Live streaming is available at http://www.893wumg.org. Advertising is not allowed, nor is a “call to action”. Reciting prices is not allowed.

When appropriate, we encourage our audience to seek “more information” by presenting a phone number or web site. As an underwriter, your short message will be presented three times during the hour, once at each break (top of the hour, twenty minutes past the hour and twenty before the hour).

In addition to supporting the show and getting exposure to our listeners, underwriters also take pride in supporting a community access, educational station which has been operating continuously for over 35 years.

The follow rates are valid until June 30, 2011. Each rate is for underwriting ONE hour of the show each week for the specified number of weeks.

In order to keep with the theme of the show, it is prefered (but not required) that underwriters be somewhat related to show tunes and/or theater. Theatre companies, dance studios, play publishers, musical publishers, costumers, etc are encouraged to apply.
